LimeLife Makeup For Your Face
Let’s take a look at the makeup products for your face. So I’m going to skip the lips and eyes for now and focus on the products that target your complexion. These different types of makeup can be used separately or together. It’s all a matter of preference, but the goal for all of these is to help your skin look gorgeous.
LimeLight Foundation
I’m not going to go into a lot of detail about LimeLife foundation on this page because I’ve written about it in the articles I mentioned above. However, I’d be remiss if I didn’t at least mention it. LimeLife by Alcone’s Perfect Foundation comes in 22 shades. It is a paraben-free wax-based foundation that is good for your skin and is good for all skin types. Whether you have dry or oily skin, our Botanical Foundation will work with your skin and won’t cause breakouts.
The magic of this foundation is that it blends beautifully. You can build up the coverage in layers to achieve a sheer look or full coverage. Because it blends so easily, you can mix two colors together, or you can apply it with your favorite moisturizer. Dew Date is one of my favorite ways to add a little moisture when my skin is super dry during the winter. LimeLife’s foundation layers on top of it and blends together beautifully.
LimeLight Foundation gives you a natural look. Not only does it look natural on your skin, but it feels the same. As someone who doesn’t like the look and feel of a lot of makeup, I can tell you that I can’t even feel the foundation on my skin. It’s that natural and light!
LimeLife Waterproof Concealer
LimeLight foundation covers blemishes and evens out skin tone, but sometimes a little concealer is needed. LimeLife’s Complete Concealer is great for darker under-eye circles and as an eyeshadow primer. As a water-resistant concealer with high-coverage, it has the staying power that you need. Plus, it only takes a little bit to cover dark spots. It feels light and natural on your skin and won’t crease or settle into fine lines. We have several shades and one color corrector shade.
LimeLife Translucent Powder
To get a truly professional and radiant complexion, LimeLife recommends setting your foundation with the Perfect Translucent Powder. I admit that when I first started using LimeLight Foundation, I skipped this step. As I’ve stated, I’m a minimalist when it comes to makeup, so I thought this was an added step and product that I didn’t need. But, one month I decided to order it, and I have never gone without it. While LimeLife foundation is amazing on its own. When combined with our translucent powder, it makes your skin flawless. The translucent powder is so light, and it just disappears when applied. What it does is smooth out your complexion, and for me, it makes my pores disappear. It’s no wonder it’s used by professionals who need a great complexion for photoshoots.
LimeLife Color Powder
One of the newer makeup products for your face is LimeLife’s color powder. This is an extremely light-pressed powder that you can wear on its own. Or layer it on top of our foundation. Like all LimeLife products, this pressed powder is highly pigmented, so you don’t need to use much. This makes the makeup lightweight in appearance and in how it feels. It has a velvety, matte finish that is great if you need a touch-up.
LimeLife Blush
Now that your complexion and the base of your makeup are complete, you can start adding color. LimeLife by Alcone’s Perfect Blush is a great way to add a touch of color. Whether you like a natural glow or a flushed cheek, there is a blush color to match your skin tone and your needs. Like all LimeLife powders, the Perfect Blush is a fine powder with lots of pigment. It lets you add the right amount of color without looking like a clown. I love that I get the color and glow that I want while still looking natural—just a healthy, natural pop of color to brighten up my complexion.
LimeLife Bronzer
If you prefer a bronzer powder over a blush, LimeLife has you covered. With 7 shades available, there’s a diverse range of colors to compliment all skin tones. Two of the shades have a shimmer to them, so you can use them to highlight and brighten your face. While the remaining colors all have a matte finish and, to me, are an extension of our blush line.
LimeLife Highlighter Makeup
Our blushes and bronzers can be used as highlighters, but if you prefer a liquid highlighter, LimeLife now has Perfect Glow Drops. LimeLife Custom Palettes
All of the products that I’ve mentioned so far can be purchased individually. Or, you can also build a custom palette. This is my favorite way to purchase our products. For powders, you can build a palette with two, three, or six powders. I love the custom Blush-Bronzer-Powder palette trio. For me, this is the perfect mix of powders to cover all my looks. I use the translucent powder and blush on a daily basis, and then in the summer, I switch to bronzer. When I travel, I prefer to bring a powder palette duo since I really only need the translucent powder and blush.
LimeLife foundation and concealers are also available in custom palettes. The most popular is the Perfect Complexion Palette. This palette lets you choose one Perfect Foundation and two Concealers.
LimeLife Primer and Setting Spray
While these last three products aren’t LimeLight makeup, they are important steps for your makeup application. LimeLife’s First Base is a misting spray that helps prep your skin. This oil-free spray is not only a refreshing way to start your makeup routine. But, it’s also helpful in reducing large pores, and it prevents makeup from settling into fine lines.
Once your makeup is applied, LimeLife’s setting sprays help keep your makeup in place all day. Oil Strike Setting Spray absorbs excess oil and prevents your makeup from creasing or transferring. You end up with a beautiful matte look that lasts for 16 hours. The other setting spray option is LimeLife’s Time Setter. This fine mist spray stops your makeup from creasing and settling into fine lines. For a youthful and professional look, the Time Setter spray is the best choice.
